DESCRIPTION
There are three main types of mustard plant, all of which are Brassicas, members
of the same family as cabbage and broccoli. White (aka yellow) mustard, the
most familiar to Westerners, is probably native to southern Europe and the
Mediterranean, but it grows throughout Europe and North America; Canada is
one of the largest producers today. (Because the mustard plant now grows in
most temperate zones, the precise origins of the three types are subject to some
debate.)
